Protecting the Carpet
This space was for a small bunny and only used as a temporary housing situation. The bunny spent evenings in here when the humans went to bed or were at work, but was otherwise out-and-about with the family. The set-up is too small for long-term or large rabbit. But check out the great idea of preventing the carpet from being ruined by placing an inexpensive laminate sheet on the floor. Note that the ends of the laminate extent beyond the panels of the x-pen so little teeth can't locate an edge to chew on. That would be bad for bunny's tummy!
