Foster Set-Up. Satellite Home.
This is a Satellite or short-term foster home. In this case, the bunny was taken in during an emergency situation and one of our wonderful volunteers created a fostering space "out of nowhere" in their home. Rusty, the bunny in this photo, was adopted not long after this photo was taken. Again, Rusty had plenty of time to run when he was supervised and this area would be too small for a long-term housing arrangement for a typically-sized rabbit. Note the wooden frame with the washable towel in the back. A rabbit always needs a place to hide if he is frightened.
